Rebecca joined John Coward Chartered Architect in 1999 and became a director of John Coward Architects Ltd in 2002. She became Managing Director of the company in 2017 when John Coward retired. Rebecca trained in Canterbury and Edinburgh and became a chartered member of the RIBA and the RIAS in 1996. She worked first in Cumbria, then Scotland and the Pacific before moving back to the UK to join John Coward Architects.
Prior to working for JCA Ltd, Rebecca worked on a wide range of projects including refurbishment and new build office developments and hotel projects in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Fiji. Since joining JCA Ltd Rebecca has worked on a huge range of domestic and commercial projects. In 2006 she became a member of the Green Register and works with all her clients to produce high quality sustainable buildings.
Rebecca’s work is mainly focused on the feasibility, design and planning stages of projects and because of this she has built up an excellent working relationship with all the local planning authorities.
