The grade 2 listed farmhouse and attached barn were bought by our client to convert into a bed and breakfast. At Angel Barn, JCA assisted the client in obtaining Listed Building Consent approval and planning permission, by designing a sensitive conversion that respected the character and setting of the original buildings and their grouping as a farmstead. The barn was converted into holiday let accommodation offering three bedrooms and a living/dining/kitchen space.
The grade 2 listed barn was converted into holiday let accommodation.
The living room with wood burning stove utilises the existing openings in the original barn for its windows.
An open plan kitchen / dining room at the heart of the conversion.
Stylish bathrooms serve the first floor bedrooms.
External spaces were also created to be enjoyed by holiday guests.
The farmstead is in a rural location in the Howgill Fells.
