Practice Architect Sarah Gerrish has recently been added to the RIBA Conservation Registrant list after completing an RIBA approved Conservation Course & successful application process.
An RIBA Conservation Registrant has an awareness of the issues when working with historic buildings and heritage assets and though this level is not accredited, it is a stepping stone for those looking to progress within the conservation sector.
The next step in the process will be for Sarah to further develop her knowledge and experience of working with historic buildings and apply for formal accreditation as an RIBA Conservation Architect.
Within the JCA Ltd Team we have two RIBA Specialist Conservation Architects, Mike and Dearbhail, both of whom are Architects Accredited in Building Conservation (AABC). Dearbhail is also a SPAB (Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings) Lethaby Scholar. So, Sarah is in great hands as she continues to expand on her knowledge and work towards her next goal.
